Aqua 500 AIR keeps the familiar Aqua 500 switch box in the cab and moves the valve connection onto the sprayer. The 5-way valve harness plugs into the sealed sockets of the AIR ECU next to the valves; box and ECU communicate wirelessly, so no thick valve cable has to be pulled into the tractor cab.

Overview

Aqua 500 AIR is a wireless 5-way sprayer control box for the field sprayer. The switch box stays in the cab; the AIR ECU sits on the sprayer next to the valves and the two communicate over a wireless link, so there is no valve cable through the cab. It is the answer for farms that swap the sprayer between tractors or run it on rented machines, and it uses the same 20 BAR 5W electro valve kit as the wired Aqua.

What is the AIR ECU?

The AIR ECU is a sealed electronic box mounted on the sprayer with numbered sockets for the valve harness, power and an optional Hydra hydraulic box. It receives the switch commands from the cab wirelessly and drives the valves. Power and link LEDs show the status at a glance.

Can I retrofit Aqua 500 AIR to my existing field sprayer?

Yes. Aqua 500 AIR is designed as a retrofit kit: the computer or box goes in the cab, the 20 BAR 5W electro valve kit is fitted to the sprayer plumbing and the valve cable connects the two. Any brand of field sprayer with a standard valve block can be converted, usually in one working day by your dealer.

Can I add hydraulic boom control to the same ECU?

On the 5- and 7-way versions, yes: a Hydra 500 or Hydra 700 box plugs into socket 4 of the same AIR ECU, so liquid section control and hydraulic boom control run on one unit.
