What is the difference between a control box and a rate controller?

Aqua 500 is manual: the operator switches sections and adjusts pressure with toggle switches. A rate controller such as Nova 100 holds the l/ha rate automatically using sensors. Many farmers start with an Aqua box and move to a Nova computer later; the same valve kit stays on the sprayer.

Can I retrofit Aqua 500 to my existing field sprayer?

Yes. Aqua 500 is designed as a retrofit kit: the computer or box goes in the cab, the 20 BAR 5W electro valve kit is fitted to the sprayer plumbing and the valve cable connects the two. Any brand of field sprayer with a standard valve block can be converted, usually in one working day by your dealer.

Is there a wireless version of Aqua 500?

Yes. Aqua 500 AIR uses the AIR ECU wireless valve interface: the box stays in the cab, the valve harness plugs into the ECU on the sprayer and the two communicate wirelessly, with no valve cable through the cab.

How much does Aqua 500 cost and how do I buy it?
