Overview
Hydra 500 is a 5-way hydraulic boom control box for sprayers: from the cab the operator controls boom leveling, height, lock and 2 boom movements through solenoid directional valves on the machine. It replaces a bank of hydraulic levers with one compact switch panel, and the TIMFAYP16 solenoid valve block is supplied as the required kit.

Which boom movements does Hydra 500 control?
Leveling, height and lock plus 2 boom movements (fold and tilt on each side), 5 functions in total, each with its own switch and LED. The switches drive the solenoid directional valves, so the tractor only needs one hydraulic pair.
Can I retrofit Hydra 500 to my existing field sprayer?
Yes. Hydra 500 is designed as a retrofit kit: the computer or box goes in the cab, the TIMFAYP16 electro valve kit is fitted to the sprayer plumbing and the valve cable connects the two. Any brand of field sprayer with a standard valve block can be converted, usually in one working day by your dealer.
Can Hydra 500 be used together with a Nova computer or an Aqua box?
Yes. Hydra boxes are independent and stack next to any Nova computer or Aqua control box. If you want a single wireless unit on the sprayer, choose Hydra 500 AIR, which shares the AIR ECU with the Aqua AIR boxes.
How much does Hydra 500 cost and how do I buy it?
The price depends on the valve kit, cable lengths and options (GNSS antenna, sensors) your machine needs, so we quote per configuration. Use the "Request a quote" button on this page or write to us on WhatsApp; a Tim dealer in your country will reply with a complete kit price and delivery time.
What support and warranty come with Hydra 500?
Every Tim product ships with a 2-year warranty, a printed quick guide and access to the Nova Support wizard in the Field Hub. Installation and operator training are handled by the local dealer; firmware updates are free and loaded via USB.
